Old Church Revival Posters

When I see posters like this, I always tend to hear in my mind’s ear the crackling voice of an old radio preacher. I love these because they’re pieces of our past. Big tent revivals, at one time, were part of a great movement that swept across America. The method has fallen on hard times, perhaps because of the transient and mobile nature of our society today, but these relics need to be preserved as a reminder of something that deeply impacted the spiritual formation of America.
